Frequently Asked Questions

Bargain Bin & Beyond · Effective Date: June 1, 2026

1. What Is the Auction Feature?

The Auction feature allows businesses and individual buyers to place competitive bids on selected products. Items are awarded to the highest bidder when the auction closes.

2. Who Can Participate in Auctions?

Registered businesses and individual users with an active account can participate in auctions.

3. How Do I Place a Bid?

Log into your account, select the auction item, enter your bid amount, and confirm. All bids are recorded in real time.

4. Are Bids Binding? Can I Cancel a Bid?

Yes. Bids are legally binding. A bid may be removed only when an administrator verifies a system error, obvious entry mistake, or material listing change. The decision and reason are recorded.

5. What Happens If I Win an Auction?

  • You receive a confirmation notification
  • A Sales Order and/or invoice is generated
  • You must complete the purchase within the specified timeframe

6. How Long Do I Have to Pay After Winning?

The deadline is set by the administrator and disclosed for the auction and settlement. The standard payment-resolution period is four calendar days unless the auction states otherwise. Failure to pay may result in cancellation and account restrictions.

7. What Payment Methods Are Accepted?

  • Wire transfer
  • ACH
  • Credit card; processing fees may apply
  • Check or cash on delivery, where applicable

8. Can Auction Purchases Be Canceled or Refunded?

Auction purchases are generally final. An administrator may approve a full or partial refund for a material listing discrepancy, pre-release damage, shortage, non-delivery, verified system error, or mutually approved cancellation. The reason is recorded.

9. What Fees Should I Expect?

  • The administrator-configured buyer’s premium shown before bidding
  • Any disclosed payment processing fee
  • Shipping or freight costs
  • Applicable taxes
  • Any disclosed pickup, storage, or missed-appointment fee

10. Who Sets the Buyer’s Premium and Bid Increment?

The administrator sets these values for each auction or lot. They are displayed before bidding and normally lock when bidding opens.

11. What Happens If I Fail to Complete Payment?

  • Order cancellation after the disclosed deadline
  • Deposit withholding where authorized and disclosed
  • Suspension or restriction of your account
  • Loss of access to future auctions
